Nothing about CJ Everhart is traditional, from her blue collar job to her thoughts on relationships but now that she’s thirty, she wonders if there is more for her than the life she’s living. Enter big-city transplant, Peyton Quinn, and CJ can’t deny the chemistry between them, but can Peyton convince her to take a chance on love? Fall for this hard-working hottie in Hold Onto the Stars by Tracy Broemmer, a Blind Date Romance, the next book in the Blue Collar Romance Series.
My Thoughts: Peyton, a teacher saw CJ, an electrician, and was instantly attracted to her. Their lives were not headed in the same direction, and I liked that they could still be together. They were honest with each other, told each other what they wanted, and did not pressure each other to conform to their own wants.
I was not always sure of Peyton, his communication skills left something to be desired but, in the end, he always got his point across. I felt like he struggled to understand many of CJ’s needs and always hoped that he would figure it out before CJ gave up on him. I loved that CJ knew where she stood in life and was not willing to conform to society or Peyton.
This entire series is wonderful. Each book stands alone but is set in the same town. Each book is also written by a different author, I love seeing how their own visions of the town are so similar yet their stories are all unique.

About Tracy BroemmerAn only child, Tracy Broemmer grew up with a wild imagination. An avid reader from a young age, she spent a lot of time with her nose buried in books and a lot of time making up her own stories. She penned her first book in grade school and hasn’t stopped writing since then. Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling with her husband of twenty-eight years, music, NFL, and MLB. Tracy is the author of the Lorelei Bluffs women’s fiction series, the Williams Legacy, and several stand-alone women’s fiction novels. She has recently dabbled in contemporary romance, as well.
