But NHL & AHL season has started and I am in the mood for extra hockey romance books.   Jennifer Sucevic, the author, has written the perfect book for me.  I love when a man falls first and does everything he can to prove he is Mr. Right.   Sloane is taking care of her siblings, which makes her a hero in my eyes.   She is used to being on her own and accepting help is not easy.  Jax helps, in so many ways, and makes her life easier without stepping on her toes too much.
