My Thoughts: I
love being able to see the future. Add
to that the family dynamics that Iris lives in and I thought that I would be so
pulled into this book that the world would stop so I could listen longer. Well, the world did not stop but I did
enjoy listening to It Runs in the Family.
I never felt the “must-listen” urge.
The story was fun. It was unique in seeing the future aspect,
but the rest of the story was just a story.
The characters were odd, not unique, just odd. There was no connection to any of them for
me. I felt the romance was just there, nothing
that made me really invested.
I would listen to more of Denise Grover Swank’s books. The book was not one that I disliked, I just
did not love it.
