My Thoughts:  Oh Elke Feuer, you write the most wonderful books.   The characters are so fun, unique, and relatable.   The storyline kept me entertained and turning pages not wanting to miss a single word and never wanting it to end. The Trouble with Healers is a great story from the first page to the last page.

Skylar and Matteo have a deep history.  Those histories are so hard to get through.  Their history is not all about their relationship with each other.  Their family histories had a lot to do with why their relationship is at it is.  I enjoyed seeing them try to work together, try to respect each other, and try to understand what the other is feeling while also working to get their relationship back in a good place.  They belong together but getting there is not easy.

I will also read Elke Feuer’s books.  She is a must-read author for me.   I recommend anyone looking for a story that is more than a romance.
