Boots and Bedlam (Sweeney Sisters #3) by Ashley Farley

Kindle Edition, 137 pages
Expected publication: October 18th 2016 by Leisure Time Publishing

 ‘Tis the season for chaos.

Wedding bells will soon be ringing in the Lowcountry. All Sam Sweeney wants is to marry her man on Christmas Eve surrounded by family and friends. But emerging complications, some humorous and some not so humorous, threaten to converge and derail the best-laid plans during the busy stretch between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Amidst the chaos—dealing with real estate, planning a wedding, running a seafood market, honoring traditions, and contending with teenagers—even the weather rears its head when the weatherman forecasts a white Christmas. Never has family support been more needed, but will it be enough to restore order and save the day?

Escape to the Lowcountry this Christmas where romance, intrigue, and holiday merrymaking await you.

My Thoughts…

If you are looking for a quick, fun, and entertaining read Boots and Bedlam is perfect.      The Sweeney sisters are full of adventure and great family bonding.    Once again my favorite part of the story is the making of memories and the holding onto the family traditions.   I have a family that is full of traditions and I wouldn’t give them up for anything.

I also enjoyed Sam’s son.    He is home for Christmas with his DIVA girlfriend and things happen.    Not so good things but his reaction is what proves what an amazing mom Sam has been.    His upbringing shows him that everything is not as it seems.     While Eli is not his biological father the support he shows both Sam and her son prove what an outstanding guy he is.

Boots and Bedlam is the third book in the Sweeny Sister’s series by Ashley Farley.   I have been lucky enough to read the first two but truly believe that this can be picked up as a standalone book and the reader will enjoy it.  I highly recommend reading this entire series, in any order.
