Series: The Heroes of the Dixie Wardens MC #8
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Adult, Motorcycle Club Romance
Nightmares.
Sterling and Ruthie have more things in common than they realize, even though from the outside it doesn’t seem like they do.
Blood.
Sterling is a decorated war hero.
Ruthie is an ex-con.
Their two worlds should’ve never collided, but fate has a way of turning life in the direction least expected. Now Ruthie has to try to come to terms with the fact that she’s in love with a biker who’s also a decorated Navy SEAL. One who leaves for months at a time with little to no advance warning, taking her heart with him each time he goes.
Pain.
Sterling has a lot of things to overcome in order to have Ruthie, the biggest being her mind.
She doesn’t think she’s good enough.
He thinks she’s perfect.
Now it’s up to him to show her just how right he can be.
My Thoughts…
Lani Lynn Vale how do you do it? Each book in this series is better and
better. My favorite part is that I get
to visit with characters from past books in The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC
series. While each book can be read
along they include characters from past books. I love that I can catch up on some of my
past favorites while getting to know my newest favorite.
What can I say about Sterling and Ruthie? They are perfect for each other. Together they make sense and keep each
other grounded. While they are not
perfect, but what fun would that be, they are perfect for each other. Sterling and Ruthie are so alike it is
scary. Their histories are so close to
the same that it is almost odd. Yet, it
makes sense. Their attitudes, fears,
and issues are all stemming from similar childhoods. I believe that without their tough
histories they would definitely not be where they are today and thus would not
have ever met each other and that would have been a catastrophe.
Again Lani Lynn Vale has written a perfect MC book. It has the tough and rough alpha males, the
tough and rough females (which I love) and the friendships/brotherhood that has
to be found in a good MC book. I
recommend checking out this series and this book.
