My Thoughts…
Holy Moly… This
is my first Katerina Martinez book and I am hooked. I found her book by signing up for a huge
giveaway and getting her email. Just
reading the blurb made me want to read Magick Reborn.
The characters
in the book are likable. They all have
a special talent, most are witches.
There are a few vampires, which throws this story into my faves
list. Madison, the main character, is
interesting. I’d love to learn more
about her. She is adopted and has
finally bought her own house in New
Orleans. Little did she know
that the house already had people living there. I was concerned about how easily she
trusted, but I put that to her having those special witch talents giving her a
secret feeling about people. I can’t
wait to find out what happens next with her.
The setting of
New Orleans is amazing. I could
picture the houses, the streets, and the people Madison was meeting. The scenes played out in my mind as they
were happening to Madison. Katerina
Martinez did a marvelous job bringing the reader right into the story.
I am anxious
for more of this series. If you are a
paranormal fan this is the perfect book for you.
