Now I’m about to find out if he’s just as daring off the ice.
I still can’t believe I dared Sebastian to take me with him to his summer cabin in the mountains . . . for two whole months.
But I did.
My friends call me “predictable Bettina,” because I’m always playing it safe.
Not anymore.
I’m throwing caution to the wind, being a little daring myself.
And maybe, just maybe, I’ll finally get what I want—Sebastian.
Dare on Ice is the tenth novel in the bestselling Boys of Winter hockey romance series.
*can be read as a standalone*
My Thoughts: I am a
hockey fan, so I thought why not? Why
not read a book about a hockey player? I
will be looking for more books about hockey players and hope that they can live
up to this book. I loved how the book
started with an elimination during the playoffs and the hockey players feelings
about it. This is such a real thing;
hockey is their life and when they lose a big game I can only imagine how
difficult it is and they still have to be men and stay tough.
The story quickly moved onto a double date, a fiery
attraction, and a great friendship.
There were very few surprises with Sebastian and Bettina. They meet, the sparks fly, and a friendship
happens but I loved that they were careful with each other. Even though the sparks were there they did
not rush things, they got to know each other, appreciate each other, and
eventually love each other.
Bettina and Sebastian are perfect for each other. Sebastian
opens Bettina’s eyes to all the adventures available to her while Bettina shows
Sebastian that opening your heart does not always mean heartbreak.
"Hilarious and perfectly 'played' sports romance that I devoured in one sitting! I can't wait to read more." - #1 NYT Bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken
"The usual Grey crisp writing, lovable heroes that you kinda want to slap, and a heroine that doesn't back down," Resistance on Ice is another fun standalone novel in the bestselling Boys of Winter hockey romance series.” - Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Ilsa Madden-Mills
