for the record, she doesn’t like it, or the way
he has of scaling the walls she’s built around her
heart. The road trip shenanigans that ensue are both funny and
heartbreaking, but Lexi finds something shocking along the way.

My Thoughts: Oh
Jill Shalvis, you did it again! The
Love Fix had me staying up late, waking up early, and not wanting to put the
book down. From the first time I saw
this gorgeous cover I knew that Heath and Lexi would be a couple that I would
want to be friends with. Their histories
broke my heart and their relationship helped to put it back together.
As I got to know all the characters and their histories, I
just became more invested. I needed Lexi
to connect with her sister. I wanted
Heath to win over Lexi. I had high hopes
that Lexi’s relationship with her deceased mother would somehow get better and
heal Lexi’s heart some. This is a lot
to ask of an author, a lot to put into a book, yet Jill Shalvis was able to put
more than what I expected into the book.
The Love Fix is a perfect summer read. I devoured it in just over 24 hours not
wanting to put it down.
