**One Pucking Heart is book 2 in the Crane Hockey Series, however, it can be listened to as a complete standalone.

 

My Thoughts:  Wow!   Ellie Wade chose the best narrators for this sexy, steamy hockey romance.  I listened to this book while I was working and I found reasons to stay in my office so that I could listen to just a few more minutes.  I love the voices of the narrators, the characters, and the story.  

Fake marriage, age gap, single mom, and sports romance all in one book and it was done perfectly.  Beckett and Elena have the heat turned up from the first meeting.  Elena tried to fight it and Beckett refused to give up.   Listening to these two circle each other and then have a fake marriage while trying to not fall in love was so fun.  It was no secret, to anyone, that they were losing the battle and Elena had to find a way to let Beckett into her life…for good.

One Pucking Heart could have been a much longer story and that would have been okay with me.  I would have loved more of Beckett and Elena but what I was given was so much fun.   This book is for sports romance readers who like some heat with their hockey player romance.

My Thoughts:  Book two in this series and I cannot wait to read more.    Finlay is still in the deep of things with Vero by her side.   The things she gets herself into made me laugh and cringe... a lot of cringing.  

Elle Cosimano wrote a book that I could not put down.  The words just flowed perfectly.   I read it in just a couple days.   Once I started reading, I lost track of everything around me.  I just needed to know what fix Finlay would get herself into next and how she would get out of it.   

This is a must-read series, I cannot wait for book 3!

My Thoughts:  This is my first time listening to an Ellie Wade novel. I randomly picked one from the Audible Library and decided to start with the Choices series.   This is a series of three books and I just downloaded the other two books in this series.   I cannot wait to go to work tomorrow and start listening to book two.

Ellie Wade wrote a great book and then she picked the perfect narrators for her book.    The dual narration of Chris Abell and Caitlin Kelly have the tone that brought the characters to life.   The story was brought to life while I was listening.

The story was sweet and sexy with a medium spice level.  I like Jax and Lillly.   The characters without a doubt soulmates.  Their relationship is not easy and but it was real.  I enjoyed that the storyline stayed true to the age that the characters are as the story progresses.

My Thoughts:  Hockey romance is my winter jam this year.   I cannot stop reading them and with each book I find that I enjoy them more and more.   Power Play is part of Sinners on Ice Series but is the first one that I have read.  I love that it was a standalone but now I want to go back and read the others and see what I missed.  

Layla and Clay have a deep history that includes a lot of heartbreak.   I blame Layla for 90% of the heartbreak.   While I enjoyed getting to know her, I struggled to feel any sympathy for her.    I felt like she was always making bad decisions and jumping to conclusions without getting all the facts, both in her past and in her present.   Clay was persistent.  He never gave up that she was IT for him.   Layla is one lucky girl to have a guy like him in her life.

I enjoyed the story, a lot.   It was fun to see Clay win back Layla.  I love the scenes with Maya, she is such a smart sweet little girl that I fell in love with her.   Power Play is a great hockey romance.   I am a Chicago fan, but liked that Utah was mentioned.
